As usual, TIOBE released the ranking of the most used programming languages and their trends which are now updated with data about 2010.

There are no surprises at the top of the list, where Java and C are topping the list since quite a while.

Objective-C, a C-derived language, is one of the languages that's growing most on the trail of success of both Mac OS X and iOS, the platforms where it's used most, jumping from the 46th position to the 8th in just 5 years.

The ranking is important to measure the skills of both individuals and enterprises against the needs of the market. At the moment, our organization is providing services built on top of each one of the 11 languages topping the list.
